Chiropractic Care

From Band-Aids to Biomechanics

Moving Ferociously

This is NOT your average chiropractor visit.

Most people find their way to my table after they’ve tried everything else. They’ve been told their pain is “just part of getting older,” they’ve been given cookie-cutter treatments that failed, or they’ve been handed a prescription that masks the symptom without ever touching the source. The result is always the same: you limit your activity, stop chasing your goals, and live in constant fear of the next flare-up.

At Raptor Performance + Wellness, Dr. Swanson sets a higher standard for recovery by shifting the focus from passive relief to active resilience.

The Methodology: Full Body Assesment, 1-on-1 Care, Movement-Based

Traditional chiropractic often operates like a “patient mill”—turning people over as quickly as they walk in. Here, you are treated as an individual, not a number. By working in a 1-on-1 environment inside Raptor Performance + Wellness, we provide tailor-made, biomechanical evaluation and re-education.

We don’t just “crack” a joint and send you home. Movement is medicine. We learn your body then build movement that helps you, rather than harms you

Our Three-Phase Approach to Your Care

Phase 1: The Reset (Down-Regulating the Threat)
Before we can build, we must desensitize. Pain is a “threat level” set by your brain; in this phase, we use clinical tools like manipulation and soft tissue therapy to turn that threat level down. By desensitizing irritable tissues, we expand your “comfort window,” creating the necessary space for you to move and exercise without triggering a worsening pain response.

Phase 2: The Re-Education (Retraining the Mechanics)
True healing is not an event—it’s a process that requires time, consistency, and repetition. In this phase, we move to the gym floor or at home rehab to begin the work of retraining your mechanics. We identify the specific movement flaws that have been holding you back and implement a rigorous program of repetition to help you operate optimally. We aren’t just fixing a problem; we are coaching you into a higher level of function.

Phase 3: The Resilience (Auditing for Success)
Resilience is built on a foundation of data and habits. In the final phase, we audit and retest your movement patterns to ensure the success of the work we’ve put in. We integrate specific daily habits and nervous system drills designed to continue building durability in both your tissues and your mind, ensuring that your progress isn’t just a temporary fix, but a permanent lifestyle change.

Stop Managing Symptoms. Start Moving with Purpose.

If recurring or lingering pain has impacted your activity for months or more, it’s time for a root-cause approach. Whether you are a weekend warrior, a competitive athlete, or someone who desires to move confidently again, we are here to restore your function so you can live and perform ferociously.
